Bishwanath Crowned Champions of Luton Sylhet Division Cup 2026, Jagannathpur Runners-Up

Luton, United Kingdom:

The Bishwanath Football – Luton Sylhet Division Cup 2026 was held in Luton with the aim of promoting brotherhood, unity and harmony among the British-Bangladeshi community living in the area

The football tournament, held on Sunday, 6 September 2026, created a vibrant and festive atmosphere, with all participating teams displaying strong competition and enthusiasm.

 

 

Bishwanath Football Team were crowned champions. Jagannathpur finished as runners-up, while Golapganj secured third place.

The main sponsor of the event was Venue Central. The organisers expressed their gratitude to the sponsors, players, officials, volunteers and spectators who supported and attended the tournament.

Following the competition, a joyful Celebration Dinner was held to congratulate the winning team and extend best wishes to all participating teams.

The dinner was attended by Hamza Uddin, a distinguished son of Bishwanath and boxing champion, who joined the event from Walsall, West Midlands, United Kingdom.

According to the organisers, events such as this play an important role in strengthening relationships and harmony within Luton’s British-Bangladeshi community, while also encouraging the younger generation to take a greater interest in sports.

যুক্তরাজ্যের লুটনে বসবাসরত ব্রিটিশ-বাংলাদেশি কমিউনিটির মধ্যে ভ্রাতৃত্ব, ঐক্য ও সৌহার্দ্য বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে বিশ্বনাথ ফুটবল – Luton Sylhet Division Cup 2026।

গত রবিবার, ৬ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬ অনুষ্ঠিত এই ফুটবল প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণকারী দলগুলোর মধ্যে দারুণ প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতা ও উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি হয়।

প্রতিযোগিতায় চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়েছে বিশ্বনাথ ফুটবল দল। রানার্সআপ হয়েছে জগন্নাথপুর, আর তৃতীয় স্থান অর্জন করেছে গোলাপগঞ্জ।

অনুষ্ঠানের Main Sponsor ছিল Venue Central। আয়োজকদের পক্ষ থেকে স্পন্সর, খেলোয়াড়, কর্মকর্তা, স্বেচ্ছাসেবক এবং উপস্থিত দর্শকদের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা জানানো হয়।

প্রতিযোগিতা শেষে বিজয়ী দলকে অভিনন্দন জানিয়ে এবং অংশগ্রহণকারী সকল দলকে শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় এক আনন্দঘন Celebration Dinner।

ডিনার অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষভাবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশ্বনাথের কৃতী সন্তান ও বক্সিং চ্যাম্পিয়ন হামজা উদ্দিন, যিনি যুক্তরাজ্যের Walsall, West Midlands থেকে অনুষ্ঠানে যোগ দেন।

আয়োজকদের মতে, এ ধরনের ক্রীড়া আয়োজন লুটনের ব্রিটিশ-বাংলাদেশি কমিউনিটির মধ্যে পারস্পরিক সম্পর্ক, সম্প্রীতি ও নতুন প্রজন্মের মধ্যে খেলাধুলার আগ্রহ আরও বৃদ্ধি করতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে।
