শাহজালাল ওয়েলফেয়ার সোসাইটি লুটন, ইউকে’র উদ্যোগে মরহুম ক্বারী আব্দুল কাদির (রহ.)-এর স্মরণে এক ঈসালে সওয়াব মাহফিল স্থানীয় বিওয়াইএল হলে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
মাহফিলে বিভিন্ন কমিউনিটির উলামায়ে কেরাম, সামাজিক ও কমিউনিটি নেতৃবৃন্দ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। বক্তাগণ মরহুমের কর্মময় জীবনের বিভিন্ন দিক তুলে ধরে বলেন, মরহুম ক্বারী সাহেব রাহিমাহুল্লাহ ছিলেন আহলে সুন্নাত ওয়াল জামাআতের একজন নিবেদিতপ্রাণ মুবাল্লিগ এবং উলামায়ে কেরামের নির্ভরযোগ্য অভিভাবক।
বক্তারা আরও বলেন, লুটনে অনুষ্ঠিত প্রথম ঈদ ও জুমুআর জামাতের খতীব হিসেবে তিনি ইতিহাসের অংশ হয়ে আছেন। তিনি শুধু বাংলাদেশি কমিউনিটির নয়, পাকিস্তানি ও কাশ্মিরি মুসলিম কমিউনিটিরও একজন সম্মানিত ইমাম ছিলেন।
মাহফিলে বক্তাগণ স্মরণ করেন যে, মরহুম ক্বারী সাহেব তাঁর মুহতারাম শায়েখ হযরত আল্লামা আব্দুল লতিফ চৌধুরী ফুলতলী (রহ.)-এর নির্দেশনায় লুটনে প্রথম খানকাহ ও জিকির মাহফিল শুরু করেন। তিনি লুটন ব্যারিপার্ক জামে মসজিদ, আল-জালাল জামে মসজিদ ও জালালাবাদ জামে মসজিদ-এর অন্যতম প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ছিলেন। এছাড়া স্থানীয় আনজুমানে আল-ইসলাহ ও ক্বারী সোসাইটি সম্প্রসারণে তাঁর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা ছিল।
আয়োজকরা বলেন, শাহজালাল ওয়েলফেয়ার সোসাইটির উপদেষ্টা হিসেবে মরহুম ক্বারী সাহেবের স্মরণে এই ঈসালে সওয়াব মাহফিল আয়োজন করতে পেরে তারা গর্বিত। তারা মহান আল্লাহর দরবারে দোয়া করেন, আল্লাহ যেন তাঁর ত্যাগ ও কুরবানিকে কবুল করে তাঁকে জান্নাতের উচ্চ মাকাম দান করেন।
শাহজালাল ওয়েলফেয়ার সোসাইটির প্রেসিডেন্ট হযরত মাওলানা সা’দ উদ্দিন সিদ্দিকী-র সভাপতিত্বে এবং জেনারেল সেক্রেটারি মাওলানা মোহাম্মদ রুহুল আমীন-এর পরিচালনায় অনুষ্ঠিত মাহফিলে উলামা ও কমিউনিটি নেতৃবৃন্দের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেন— মুফতি আব্দুর রহমান নিজামী, প্রফেসর মাসুদ আখতার হাদরাভী, কাউন্সিলর আজিজুল আম্বিয়া চৌধুরী, ড. সুফী আইয়ুব হানিফ নকশবন্দী, সুফী হাবীব হানিফ নকশবন্দী সহ আরও অনেকে।
মাহফিল শেষে মরহুমের মাগফিরাত ও জান্নাতের উচ্চ মাকামের জন্য বিশেষ দোয়া করা হয়।
মহান আল্লাহ মরহুমকে জান্নাতুল ফেরদৌস নসীব করুন। আমীন।

Esaal-e-Sawab Mahfil Held in Luton in Memory of Late Qari Abdul Qadir (RA)
An Esaal-e-Sawab Mahfil 

 

in memory of the late Qari Abdul Qadir (RA), organised by Shahjalal Welfare Society Luton, UK, at the local BYL Hall.
The gathering was attended by Islamic scholars, community leaders, and members from various communities. Speakers highlighted the remarkable life and services of the late Qari Sahib, describing him as a devoted preacher of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah and a reliable guardian for the Ulama.
They mentioned that he became part of Luton’s Islamic history as the Khateeb of the first Eid and Jumu’ah congregation in Luton. He was respected not only among the Bangladeshi community but also among Pakistani and Kashmiri Muslims as a distinguished Imam.
The speakers also recalled that, under the guidance of his respected Shaykh Allama Abdul Latif Chowdhury Phultoli (RA), he established the first Khanqah and Zikr Mahfil in Luton. He was one of the founding figures of Luton Bury Park Jame Masjid, Al-Jalal Jame Masjid, and Jalalabad Jame Masjid, and played a significant role in expanding Anjuman Al-Islah and the Qari Society in the local community.
Organisers stated that they were honoured to arrange this memorial event in remembrance of their adviser, the late Qari Sahib, and prayed that Almighty Allah accepts his sacrifices and grants him the highest place in Jannah.
The event was chaired by Maulana Saad Uddin Siddiqui, President of Shahjalal Welfare Society, and conducted by Maulana Mohammad Ruhul Amin, General Secretary. Among the attendees were Mufti Abdur Rahman Nizami, Professor Masud Akhtar Hadravi, Councillor Azizul Ambia Chowdhury, Dr Sufi Ayub Hanif Naqshbandi, and Sufi Habib Hanif Naqshbandi, among many others.
Special prayers were offered at the end of the gathering for the forgiveness of the late Qari Abdul Qadir (RA).
May Allah grant him the highest مقام in Jannatul Ferdous. Ameen.
